If syncing triggered by Sync button (the same as for the other apps), without monitoring the sync dir for changes will be enough, then it would definitely make it easier to implement the feature and minimize possible bugs 🙂
Thanks for the confirmation! Now Freeter sends a spoofed user-agent to look the same as a standard chrome browser, so it shouldn't break anytime soon 🙂
I like the way a "new tab" link opens in a new window. To me, that makes sense within the Freeter workflow model. But I find myself dragging those windows around so they are mostly off-screen, so I can continue working on something else in the same workflow while keeping the link open. Needing to do that feels clunky when you are used to "clicking on a window makes it come to the front" way of thinking. I don't have an alternate idea other than, it would be nice having a simpler way to manager the open windows, than actually moving them around with the mouse so they don't hide the current workflow
Or allow us to add them in while edit mode is active.
If interactions with the widget content will be allowed in the edit mode, then it will require to limit the draggable area to the widget header which makes it more harder to move widgets.
Thank you for your response! You’re right; most web applications store cookies, so you don’t have to enter login credentials constantly. However, I still had to sign in daily for some applications, which was quite annoying.
I’ve found a solution: I’ve set up automatic logins using the application Keyboard Maestro. It works reliably and saves me a lot of time.
