Did a quick research and found that there was an issue with the default appearance settings after updating the app. Released v2.7.1 which fixes it.
Thanks for the bug report!

What about the top-right corner? The new version has new features enabling to configure the UI. More details: https://community.freeter.io/post/192
If you can't see the project dropdown at the top-right corner in the new version, then probably there is some issue with the default settings in Freeter. I'll check it. -
Could you send a screenshot of the window corner with the projects dropdown?

Thanks!

Sue, thank you for the feedback on your usecases for the new features!
Agree! 8 months of silence was too much...

Done. Available in the new version.

Thanks for the great idea! The feature is available in the new version. To enable this, open settings for a Web Query widget and pick the Webpage Widgets mode. Webpage Widgets should have the capitalized QUERY in the URLs as placeholders for the typed queries.

CSS & JS injection is available in the new version.

Done. Available in the new version. Accessible via the context menu.

Done. Available in the recent version.

For the other two PRs, I implemented those features differently. Available in the v2.7.0.
-
I've added the features required to achieve the compact mode.
Top Bar, Project Switcher Position, Edit Mode Toggle Position will be configurable via Main Menu -> View -> Appearance. I agree that the proposed compact view (as on the screenshot above) will be a better fit for most use cases, so Freeter will have the default configuration to display the components exactly that way:
- Top Bar = Hidden
- Project Switcher Position = Tab Bar (Right)
- Edit Mode Toggle Position = Tab Bar (Right)
To have the UI look as in Freeter <=2.6, the View -> Appearance settings should be:
- Top Bar = Visible
- Project Switcher Position = Top Bar
- Edit Mode Toggle Position = Top Bar
The update is not released yet. Still finalizing things and working on other features. Hopefully will release it in a few days.

Thanks for the report! Can you check if this happens in the new version?
-
@rugby It is not abandoned. I have very limited resources at the moment, dedicated for security updates and critical bug fixes. Those are rare, that's why there were no updates these months.
-
I'm going to implement this in the next version, on the next week. Will be configurable via View menu.
-
No updates for a few months - doesn't mean that it's discontinued
Thanks for the pull requests! Merged some of them. For the compact mode - I'll make it differently with the View->Show Top Bar menu option. For the other two PRs - the feature branches should be updated to only have the feature-specific changes.
-
Thanks for giving it a try and your feedback!

Clicking on the X marks the app for deletion. After pressing OK all the marked apps will be deleted.
-
Thanks for the suggestion! Added MemSaver feature which allows to set how Freeter will unload inactive workflows. The behavior can now be controlled via Application, Project and Workflow settings. Please check the new version 2.5.0

Thanks for the confirmation! Now Freeter sends a spoofed user-agent to look the same as a standard chrome browser, so it shouldn't break anytime soon
